Glade Candle

Glade Candle packaging allows the consumer to smell the product via slits on the top, it also protect the product from people indenting the wax. The use of paper on the package/label is a smart decision since its biodegradable as opposed to using plastic. The minimal paper allows the consumer to see how the candle looks. Being able to see the product is important because the visual consumer takes seconds to decide on the right product. It also gives the feeling of company transparency, a company that has nothing to hide. Glade Candle products took its most popular scents and combined them into one. This is a smart move since it gives the consumer the option to enjoy two scents. The company greatly benefits since the candle is double the price compared to a 1 scented candle. The over all feel of the design is non threatening, very inviting and warm. This was accomplished by using different shades of red and orange.

Heinz Ez Squirt Ketchup 

The Heinz Ez Squirt ketchup was introduced in the year 2000 in a array of tecnicolors. The ketchup itself came in funky colors like green, blue and purple. The company designed the nozzle to be kid friendly, it allowed for the ketchup to come out easier. The bottle curves inward providing a better grip for the consumer. The colors of the bottle matched the color of the ketchup. This is was done so the consumer can visually distinguish the color of the ketchup they are buying without reading the label. The colors yellow used on the bottle was a smart decision. The designers used the complimentary color of purple (which is yellow) to emphasize the name. Overall ,colored ketchup concept was initially successful because it knew its consumer (kids). Once the novelty wore out, the product was pulled from the shelves.

Wonder Women Chair

A fun chair that turns you into your favorite female super hero. Looking at this chair from the front, one thinks its a well designed modern chair. As you begin walking around it you start to notice that there's an image painted on it, the image of Wonder Women. From the back, the  silhouette of Wonder Women works because the paint job is really good  and the shape of the chair enhances the image. The designers made the base of the chair in a "V" shape so that the feet of Wonder Women gives off a 3D look.  This is greatly adds to the illusion of becoming her when your seated. The chair is painted white because it de-emphasizes everything else but(t) the lower half of Wonder Women. A design enhancement that could propel this novelty chair to a deeper level of love for fans everywhere is, if the white parts were see through. This design change would better align with the  whole idea that you where sitting in her invisible jet. This chair is a fun addition for any WW fans out there. 

 Jumping Sumo by Parrot Minidrones 

The Jumping Sumo is an amazing step forward in remote control toys. This product has won many awards in design, trend and invocation. The sumo isn't your ordinary toy, this product is designed with two retractable protruding wheels for desired mode. Extend the wheels for stable high speed action or retract the wheels for a more agile experience. The designers believed in a high performance; they embedded the sumo with faultless directional stability. This allows for the product to never divert from its moving commands. Another really awesome feature successfully implemented was the ability to leap 80 cm (30 inch) into the air and always land on its wheels.

The Sumo has built in wifi signal to connect with your phone, this turns your phone into the remote controller. While controlling the Sumo one has the option to record a set of commands, the Sumo will then perform the commands on his own. The designers took it a step further and installed a camera on the Sumo to allow real time streaming and recording. With the ability to stream in real time, one plunges into the heart of the Sumo.

Invisible Adonis Pouch

The Invisible Adonis Pouch is an item for the consumer who wants to enhances their sexual escapade. This product is made to sit comfortably on the male member during sexual intercourse. There are ridges along the outside of the tube which rub against the clitoris, massaging and stimulation with each passionate thrust. This is a great design idea because the penis really doesn't directly stimulate the clitoris. With a third of women reaching orgasms, this product is perfect solves that problem wonderfully. The product is made of a clear flexible plastic which gives an invisible look while on. The materials also makes it easier to see where its dirty and allows for an easy clean.  The product also contains a small vibrator between the scrotum and penis. This vibrator has 3 different speeds that accommodate the lovers preference.The designers also kept in mind the spontaneity of sex, so they made the product waterproof.  The designers really wanted to execute a product with a high orgasmic success rate for the women. 

CloudV

The CloudV has paved the way for the next level of electronic vaporizer pens on the market. It draws inspiration from electronic cigarette technologies. The Coud is not meant to be used for tobacco but for wax. This wax is concentrated delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) which is the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.

The cap of the Cloud is pulled off and inside there's a bowl with a coil. Once the bowl is filled with wax the cap is placed back and you are ready to smoke. The inner coil on the bowl heats up when the button is pushed causing the wax to heat up and release the smoke form the cap. A design downfall occurs when a consumer continuously uses the product which heats up the cap to a lip stinging hell.  

 The design of the product and packaging resembles apple products.  The Cloud comes with a rechargeable lithium battery, which is great since no money on future batteries is needed. The cord to charge the Cloud (again) draws inspiration to apples charger. The only thing that's slightly different and a great add on is the retractable cord. The retractable cord allows for a non tangled mess. The cord also gives the owner the option to charge the Cloud on a computer or an outlet. The Cloud comes in many colors, this gives consumer the option to best choose a hue to mach his/her personality. 

Air Umbrella

 This product is meant to redesign and reinvent the concept of an umbrella. This product is design to intake air and redirect it in a powerful protective barrier against the rain. The bulb-like section houses a  powerful fan which provides a 360 degree of powerful air flow for up to two people. The length of the umbrella is originally 50 centimeters but can be extended up to 80 centimeters, depending on the desired length.  The power switch is locate on the very bottom and the rechargeable batteries are placed along the handle of the product. The is a rubber section on the handle providing the user with a firm hold on their product. The Rubber is designed to hold its friction when wet, this is important because the product will more likely than not always be wet. The product seems bulky and heavy at first glance but its actually about a pound in weight, which is not that bad. A possible annoying effect of the product could be, the stream of air will pushing all the rain onto bystanders and enrage them. 

Case Logic CPL109 Backpack

The Case Logic CPL 109 Backpack is an essential for any serious would be photographer. Its designed to hold a slew of photography equipment and every day electronics. The backpack has six strategically placed pockets all with a unique purpose. The first pocket is located on the belly of the bag; this holds the bulk of the equipment like the camera, extra lens and off flash. The Second pocket is right above the first pocket and it holds cords and chargers. The third pocket is on the very top of the bag and its a specific pouch for a cell phone and wallets. The forth pocket is located on the side, here the would be photographer places a drink for those long adventurous journeys. The fifth pocket is located between the handles and bag itself, here one can place an iPad or notebook. The final pouch is underneath the backpack, here houses the waterproof covering for the rainy days. The designers of  the bag have used every inch of the bag to maximize its usefulness. The Case Logic seems to cover all the major modern essentials one would need when out shooting. Its a must have item. 

Anti Rape Condom

This Anti Rape Condom was design by South African Dr. Sonnet Ehlers. She felt a need to design such a thing to combat women rape, which is common in her country.  When we think of condoms we normally think of a man wearing it, this condom is designed for women to wear. This condom is designed for a women to be able to wear it for long periods of time, it acts as a rape deterrent.  The device is made of flexible rubber (as far as I could tell) and on the inside it contains rows of sharp teeth. The teeth are designed to grab and get stuck on the attackers penis, once its stuck on a penis, it could only be removed via hospital visit

This device don’t solve the cause of rape such as: sexual desire, sexual frustration, dominance, insecurities; all complex issues that need to be addressed. What this device does achieve is a smaller level of comfort knowing a rape won’t be completed and a sense of justice when an attacker gets impaled.

 Canon EOS Rebel T3

The Canon EOS Rebel T3 is a great camera for the beginning photographer in all of us. Its priced at about $300 dollars (depending on where you look). It comes with a standard 18-55mm kit lens and a built in flash. The T3 Rebel is design so the lens can be detached and replaced with any other Canon lenses (or compatible lenses). The ability to change the lens grants the Rebel adaptability to any shooting situation. The built in flash is pretty decent but if you find yourself needing more power, the camera has a hoteshoe on top to mount a off flash device. Its smooth curved body gives off a stylish look while the black color makes it timeless. The cameras grip feels very comfortable in the grip of your hands and weighing in at 17 oz. The camera is light enough for prolong sessions and heavy enough to appreciate  its presence. One thing that the manufactures could improve on is the material used on the grip. In a prolonged shooting session, a sweaty hand can slip very easily off the grip causing you to drop your investment.
